UX and UI design is very different and it is very important to know how each plays a role in designing a functional product. UI design is the focus of the overall look and blueprint of a design. UX is the focus of the users' experience and how the specific product works or functions.
At this stage, we started to play around with different layouts and color schemes for how our app would look in Figma. We quickly discovered how font sizes were too large or small, and that the original colors we choose were not accessible.
We both realized it needed to be heavily simplified in order to make the intentions clear and concise as well as being ADA complient.
